Great book.... - This book is excellent when talking to your child and to other family members about Asperger Syndrome. It s fun, clear and concise - therefore easy to read and understand. Lovely book and well recommended!

Makes AS cuddly (almost) - A wonderful book! I have an 8 year old son with AS and have probably given away 20 copies of this book to friends, family and the school classroom. It is particularly good for children as it makes unusual behaviour seem understandable and OK, rather than threatening or strange.

Full Of Humorous Pictures & Expressions on AS! - At first, I just wondered why cats appear in this book because I wasn t quite sure what cats had to do with Asperger Syndrome. But, on second thought, Kathy Hoopmann might help parents with AS kids increase their understanding. Even adults with AS are sure to see what AS is like because she illustrated AS not only by words but pictures! We can t put down this book just because it s for kids only! If possible, I d have liked her to explain in advance why she associated cats with AS.

a good positive book on aspergers - we love this book , it is the perfect bedtime reading for my aspie boy, the pictures are lovely and the text fits in with both our cats and my lad, :)

Cats do not have Asperger s Syndrome - I have Asperger s Syndrome and can not recommend this book. This book has very little to do with what it is like to have Asperger s Syndrome and what it is like to live in a world of Neuro Typicals. Kathy Hoopmann is clueless about what is like being an Asperger and shows us Asperger s no respect or understanding. On the whole, Cats are nothing like a person with Asperger s. The only thing that cats and Asperger s may have in common is that we both like our privacy. My expereince with cats is that they like to be cuddled and are extremely good at picking-up social cues which is one of the biggest problems us Asperger s have living in a Neuro Typical world. As an Asperger, in my opinion this is one of the worst books on the subject of Asperger s Syndrome and is a complete waste of money.
